Farhan Akhtar is a breath of fresh air on social media. From sharing candid pictures of friends and family on Instagram to posting updates about his work, Farhan's Instagram timeline is one fun place to be. Now, the multi-hyphenate has shared his idea of a perfect Sunday and it involves an adventure sport. The director-actor has shared an image of him sky-diving, along with the note, “What every Sunday should feel like.” In the caption, he also added the hashtags – “FarOutdoors”, “free-flying”, “sky diving”, “Spain” and "Empuriabrava". Replying to the post, actor Darshan Kumar said, “Wohooo,” with a fire emoji. Several fans of the actor also complimented him for the amazing picture.
Farhan Akhtar is currently basking in all the adulation coming his way for his much-anticipated role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series, Ms Marvel. While not much is known about the actor's role in the show, he recently shared a promo in which he is seen dressed in a robe, sporting a beard and quoting Rumi, “What you seek is seeking you!”
As per reports, Farhan Akhtar will likely be seen in either episode 4 or episode 5 or both.
And given that he has many reasons to smile, Farhan Akhtar also recently shared a picture of himself, grinning. He added a caption that said, “Too smiley for a passport photo I was told.” While the image may not be passport-appropriate, it received a lot of love from his fans and friends. Farhan Akhtar's wife Shibani Dandekar replied to the post saying, “Could you be any cuter?” with a heart emoji.
Responding to the post, Shabana Azmi, who is married to Farhan's father, lyricist Javed Akhtar said, “I was asked to have no expression for my passport photo and replied I'm an actress I can't be expressionless!”
On the work front, Farhan Akhtar will soon return to the director's chair with Jee Le Zaraa, starring Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra.
