As we reach closer to the end of this film schedule, I'm beginning to sulk. Already. A few pictures with a lot of emotional rants will follow as the withdrawals start kicking in. Here's the first one - These two are amazing. Being the superstars that they are, they are the easiest to work with. I learnt to be so attentive on this set because there was always so much to learn. There have been times when I had to remind myself that I'm not part of the scene as an audience. They are incredibly talented, incredibly gifted. I cannot stress on this enough, but it's been an absolutely enriching experience working with both of them. And of course the chronicles of Binaca Geetmala and Jukebox shall continue now that they've both made peace with my monkeying around. There is still so much to say but hopefully I'll be able to articulate my thoughts better when I'm slightly less overwhelmed. I posted a picture on our first day on set and here's a picture from the last #Karwaan #HumansofKarwaan
Post #8 Dedicated to the magic man of Karwaan - our DoP! If we've managed to look even half decent in the frames, it's all this man's doing. There were times when we'd see a picture clicked by him from our locations and wonder how we never saw the same thing the way he did. But then, that's why we aren't cinematographers and cannot make everything look like a painting. You sufi soul and fellow singer, I know what a troublemaker I was for you. I used to enjoy seeing you hide behind your camera everytime you heard me from afar! But you are amazing. Thank you for being patient P.S.: I'm looking forward to doing more work with you so we have ONE picture together atleast. For now, I'll make do with this one. P.P.S: We must also make that long pending video of us singing together! #Karwaan #HumansofKarwaan
Of his Bollywood debut, Dulquer, told news agency PTI that he is would prefer 'interesting and memorable roles' than 'fancy ones.' "I don't think I want to play a big fancy lead role in Hindi films just for the sake of it. I would prefer to do interesting roles. If I get a memorable role, it would have a bigger impact than debuting as a lead in a film where nobody knows me."
Karwaan is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala. A release date hasn't been finalised for the film yet.
