- Deepika Padukone recently talked about her learnings
- She was seen praising the decisions that she made in the past
- "I think I've learned to own who I am," said Deepika
You must have seen Ranveer Singh praising Deepika Padukone during interviews and media interactions. But this time, it's Deepika, who is praising herself and the decisions that she made when she was young. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar India, Deepika Padukone said, "I think I've learned to own who I am and not try to fit any expectations or moulds. It takes work, learning to trust your gut...It takes some burning of fingers, and a great deal of patience. But, as long as you know deep down that you've made the right decision, it's fine. I think I've always had this instinct and that, at some point, my chakras became activated. Sometimes, I look back at decisions I have taken in my life, and I think to myself, 'I was only 13 at the time, how did I even know that?"
Deepika Padukone also stated that in the past, for her, beauty was what the magazines sold and what movies showed. But today, her definition of beauty is linked to a centered mind and body. "When I feel centred, I feel the most beautiful. And when I see people in their most authentic, honest states, I find that to be very attractive," concluded Deepika Padukone.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Shakun Batra's Gehriayaan, co-starring Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhariya Karwa. Next, she will be seen in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan, also starring John Abraham. After Pathan, Deepika will be seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and she also has Nag Ashwin's next with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
