'Dear Friend Hitler' is a multi-lingual Indian dramabased on the letters written by Gandhi to Adolf Hitler inwhich the former addresses the Nazi dictator as 'Dear Friend'.

"The film shows the clash of two historical personalities- Mahatma Gandhi and Adolf Hitler...How these two leadersfollowed their respective ideologies to solve issues of theircountries. Hitler used violence, while Gandhiji believed innon-violence.

The movie has three tracks - Hitler, Gandhi andconnecting them the Azad Hind Fauj, he said.

Directed by debutante Rakesh Ranjan Kumar and producedby Anil Sharma, the film stars Raghuvir Yadav as Hitler andNeha Dhupia as his lover Eva Braun.

"Also, other countries must learn from India hownon-violence can resolve a problem without blood shed. Its aclash between non-violence and violence. Non-violence, if usedproperly, is the most deadliest weapon and the best part isthat not much blood is shed. It is upon the politicians howthey want to project themselves- by using violence which isHitlerian or by using non-violence that is Gandhian," Singhsaid.

For instance activist Anna Hazare followed Gandhi'sideology and won a step into the battle against corruption, hesaid.

The Ranchi-born scriptwriter will also be seen on thesilver screen as Joseph Goebbels who is Hitler's right hand. After the successful screening of the movie at the BerlinFilm Festival in February this year, 35-year-old said, "It isa plus point that the film is screened at festivals. Also, itwould be showcased at the Cannes Film Festival beginning May11."

The multi-lingual Bollywood offering will be released ineight languages, including German, English, Hindi, Tamil andBengali. The film produced by Anil Kumar Sharma under theproduction house Amrapali media vision is slated to release inMay-June.
