Actor Anil Kapoor has now joined the list of celebrities who have received their second COVID-19 vaccine shots. The actor, on Tuesday, posted a picture of himself getting the second dose of the vaccine by a medical professional and wrote: "Done with the second dose. #stayhomestaysafe #vaccinated." Anil Kapoor, 64, can be seen sporting a black tee and a face mask in the photo. The comments section of Anil Kapoor's post also grabbed our attention because many users feel that Anil Kapoor is still young at heart. They left comments like "Sir, your turn, legally, is on May 1, all above 18 category" and "Aare sir 18+ walo ko May 1 se vaccine lagne vaali hai, aap ko kaise lag gayi."
The government, on Monday, announced that all adults above 18 years will be vaccinated in "an accelerated Phase 3 strategy of COVID-19 vaccination" starting May 1 due to the record daily hike in COVID cases. Earlier, only those above 45 and health workers were announced eligible for the vaccination.
