- Big B receives a special gift on his birthday in the form of his mural
- The height of the mural is 230 feet
- Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his birthday in Maldives
Nothing could have been better for Amitabh Bachchan than to receive such a special and heartfelt gift on his birthday.
Of the artwork, Mr Singh told mid-day: "The building was singled out for the project because of its height. The total surface area of the painting is 8,000 square feet. Artist Ranjit Dahiya and Mr Singh, who are Amitabh Bachchan's big fans also told mid-day that they chose a pose from the Yash Chopra-directed movie Deewar as they felt no other film could do justice to his 'Angry Young Man' image as the drama did.
It is also reported that the artwork is likely to find a place in the record books as the country's tallest mural. Mr Dahiya said, "Mahatma Gandhi's mural in New Delhi currently stands tallest at 158 feet. The third highest mural is that of Dadasaheb Phalke at the MTNL building in Bandra Reclamation, which was done by us in 2014. That is 125-foot-high. This one is taller than both. It is expected to be completed by October 15," reports mid-day.
We can't wait to see Big B's reactions for Bachchan Bemisal Pure 75 Saal, when he comes back from Maldives.
Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently hosting the 9th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, will next feature in Thugs Of Hindostan, 102 Not Out and Padman.
We too wish Amitabh Bachchan A Very Happy Birthday!
