Mumbai: Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar, who marked his presence in Bollywood with Tere Bin Laden, has launched his third music album, Jhoom, with Yash Raj banner.

The 30-year-old actor, who will be seen in Yash RajFilms' up-coming movie Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, launched hisalbum Jhoom, under the banner of Yash Raj Music inIndia and across the world.

Zafar's own record label `Alif Records' will release thealbum in Pakistan.

"Jhoom is a sufi album and it takes my music to anotherlevel. There are 12 songs in the album. It speaks about loveat all levels - love with god, love with life...love with yourfamily, friends and others," said Zafar.

Zafar is popular in Pakistan for hit songs such asChanno, Rangeen, Chal Dil Merey, Masty and Sajania.

He made his debut as a musician with the album Huqa Pani,released in Pakistan in 2003 and worldwide in 2005.

"Jhoom shows my journey as an artist. The albumcomprises softer and spiritually inclined songs, genericallySufi music. I think today's music survives only for a monthand I believe that music should be timeless," he said.

Zafar will be seen in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan alongsideKatrina Kaif and Imran Khan. The film is set to release inJuly.
