DU Admission 2020 Live Updates: In First DU Cut Off List, Minimum Scores Rise Across Subjects
DU Admission 2020 Live Updates: The Delhi University first cutoff list 2020 has been released. Lady Shri Ram College for Women has set 100% cut off marks for admission to BA Honors programmes in Economics, Political Science and Psychology. In the first DU admission cut off list, minimum marks for admission to BA (H) English at Miranda House touched 99%. The first cut off for BA (Hons) in Economics at Aryabhatta College is 98%. The upward trend in cut off percentage can be seen in most of the colleges. In the first DU cutoffs 2020, Kirori Mal College has set 99% cut off for admission to BA (Hons) in Political Science. DU officials had earlier said that Delhi University admission cut off marks will increase this year as many CBSE students have scored over 95% in their Class 12 board exams.
Over 3.5 lakh students have applied for 70,000 DU seats this year and the majority of them are from the CBSE.
As per the information given by the university officials, no student will be allowed to enter the Delhi University's college premises for admission." Students will be able to apply for admission on October 12 from 10 am onwards but the entire process will be online. They should not visit colleges or departments since they won't be allowed entry," an official at the university said. The students will be allowed to apply for DU admissions 2020 form October 12 starting 10 am.
