CBSE results 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE, the national board which conducts annual examinations for affiliated schools and private students, has announced the CBSE 12th results on the official websites. The CBSE 12th results are available on cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. The CBSE Board exams began on February 6 and was concluded on April 4, 2019. The CBSE 12th results have been announced within 28 days of the last date of the examination. The CBSE results have now been announced only for 12th students and details of CBSE 10th results are awaited. The CBSE results, which is usually announced by the third week of May, was announced earlier than scheduled. More than 12 lakh students appeared for the CBSE 12th examination this year. The exams were held in March and April for both regular and private students.
A total of 31,14,821 students had registered for both Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE Board exams this year which includes 28 transgender candidates. The annual Board exams were held in 4,974 centres across India and 78 centres abroad. The total 31 lakh students includes 18 lakh boys and 12.9 lakh girls. The exams were held for students from 21,400 CBSE-affiliated schools in the country and 225 abroad.

8.23% of the total students (around one lakh) who took the CBSE class 12 board exams this year, have got compartment (full subjects). The board will soon release the details of compartment examinations. Concerned candidates can find updates in this regard on the official portal cbse.nic.in.

12,18,393 students registered for the 2019 Class 12 Board examinations. Out of which, 12,05,484 candidates appeared in the exam. 10,05,427 candidates qualified the exam with 83.40 pass percentage. The Board recorded a 0.39 increase in passing percentage.
Around 13 lakh students appeared for the CBSE 12th examination this year.
The results have been announced within 28 days of the last date of the examination. The CBSE Class 12 examination began on February 16, earlier than previous years. The results, which is usually announced by the third week of May, is also being announced earlier than scheduled.

According to CBSE, in the CBSE 12th results 2019, op performing region is Trivandrum with pass percentage of 98.2%, in Chennai region the pass percentage is 92.93% and in Delhi region the pass percentage is 91.87%.
