Delhi to get hotter, no respite till June 10
New Delhi: There's no respite from heat for Delhiites yet. After a brief dip in temperatures, mercury level in the national capital and adjoining areas is all set to rise again, the meteorological department has predicted.

Over the next few days, the maximum temperature is likely to hover between 42 and 44 degrees Celsius, and June 6 expected to be the hottest day of the month. (Heat wave: share your pics and videos)

The weather department however says this will be the last warm spell in the capital this season.

Relief can be expected only by June 10, when the city is likely to witness rain and thundershowers.

Delhi recorded the hottest day of the season on Sunday May 19, when the maximum temperature soared to 46.1 degrees Celsius.
