Self-styled Godman Shiv Murat Dwivedi ran a huge network of flesh trade involving more than a hundred brokers and thousand prostitutes across the country through his online abode- www.jiyamehta.com.
The website that became operational in 2007 and was first updated in October that year, had a mobile contact number listed as 9953459309.
The site was updated again in July 2008; this time the mobile number changed to 9811822816. And, the current contact number listed on the site is 9910639999.
The profile of Jiya Mehta, presumably a fictitious character, is interesting too. She happens to be a model, born and brought up in Mumbai, has been to all parts of India and is currently working in Delhi. The Alexa ranking of the website is 14,000 in India that shows the address drew heavy traffic. The site is also linked to 88 porn websites.
Investigations have revealed that the website was registered by a person named Sumeet Malhotra, who is yet to appear on the scene.
Apparently, he had registered the site on a UK server with the email id abon.webserver@gmail.com. While verifying this email id, it was found that four other popular escort agencies were registered with same email id on the same server, which indicates that the moderator/owner of the site is the same person.
The other escort websites which were being operated are sonalmitra.com, nishimishra.com, kalpanasharma.com and meherwalia.com.
A Delhi-based landline number 011-3026666 is also registered with the server. All these websites have been designed by a famous UK-based company, Adult Web Design.
Cyber crime experts said Baba was running his sex racket, primarily, through jiyamehta.com. Every time a prospective client called up he was asked to register his landline number. After getting the number, Baba would get his antecedents verified by a specialised team. The person would be contacted only after a thorough substantiation.
