Sirsa: Decomposed bodies of boy, girl found, dishonour killing suspected

Sirsa(Haryana): In yet another case of suspected dishonour killing, badly decomposed bodies of a boy and a girl, who had allegedly eloped recently, were recovered from a village in Sirsa district of Haryana.

The bodies of Inderpal (25) and Maya (21), both residents of Phoolka village in the district, were recovered from the fields of adjoining Kanwar Pura village on Friday night, Ding police station SHO Ravinder Singh said.

The head of the girl was found severed, he said, adding that though prima facie it appeared to be a case of dishonor killing, all angles are being looked into.

A pesticide bottle was also found lying near the bodies, he said adding that the exact cause of death would be known only after the autopsy report is received.

The boy and girl had allegedly eloped a day before.

However, the girl's brother alleged that she was kidnapped by Inderpal and his four friends and was killed along with the youth after she was gangraped.
