Kottayam(Kerala):
A local court remanded a pastor in judicial custody for 14 days for allegedly throwing acid on a woman.
54-year-old Rajan George had on Monday allegedly thrown acid on the face of 39-year-old Sheila, who was staying in his house on rent, police said, adding financial dispute was stated to be the reason behind the attack.
George, who went absconding after the incident, was arrested on Wednesday.
He was produced in a judicial magistrate court which remanded him in 14 days' judicial custody.
