Imphal: Drug-addict son kills father

Imphal: Incensed over refusal to give him money, a drug-addict son allegedly killed his forest official father by stabbing him in Churachandpur district of Manipur, official reports said on Saturday.
    
Thangminlian (27), a student of law at Bangalore, reportedly demanded money from his father Kappau, a deputy ranger of state forest department, who refused to pay on July 15 night, the reports said.

Thangminlian then allegedly stabbed his father on the chest in a fit of rage. Kappau was rushed to Churachandpur district hospital where he succumbed to injuries, reports said.

Thangminlian is now in police custody.
