At 46 degrees, Nagpur records highest temperature in Vidarbha
Nagpur: After touching season's high in Nagpur on Thursday, the mercury dropped slightly to 46 degree Celsius in the second capital of Maharashtra on Friday.

Nagpur had recorded 46.7 degrees Celsius temperature on Thursday. Even at 46 degree Celsius, the city had the highest temperature in Vidarbha.

Bramhapuri (45.9), Chandrapur (45.6) and Wardha (45.6) were the other hottest cities in the region.

There was slight relief in other cities where temperature fell below 45 degrees Celsius. These included
Washim 42.2, Yavatmal 43.3, Gondia 44.3, Akola 43.5 and Amravati 44.6 degree Celsius, the Regional Meteorological Centre said.
