The Triumph Trident 800 is likely to borrow the power mill from the Triumph Sport 800, which gets a 798cc, three-cylinder engine, joined to a 6-speed gearbox with quickshifter, producing 113 hp and 84 Nm of torque.

Talking about the design, the Trident 800 test mule hints that the motorcycle seeks most of its design inspiration from its younger, 660cc sibling. However, it appears to be much bigger with the larger fuel tank and split seat setup. The Triumph Trident will get a rounded headlight, a tail lamp similar to the Trident 660, and a small flyscreen.

Apart from the engine, the Trident 800 seems to borrow the cycle parts from the Tiger Sport 800 as well. The test vehicle was spotted carrying radially-mounted front brake calipers, drawing the cycle part similarity between the two motorcycles.

While the exact feature list of the Triumph Trident has not been disclosed yet, it is likely to get cruise control, a bidirectional quickshifter, traction control, three riding modes (Rain, Road & Sport), and dual-channel ABS.

The Triumph Trident 800 seems production-ready and might grab a spot at the EICMA 2025, which is scheduled for the second week of November 2025.
