Toyota August 2025 Sales: The Japanese marque's Indian arm has reported an 11 percent YoY growth for the month of August 2025, with sales of 34,236 units. This includes 29,302 units sold in the domestic market and 4,934 units exported. Previously, Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold a total of 30,879 units in August 2024.

Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, said, "We sold 34,236 units in August 2025, maintaining our steady presence in the market and are encouraged by the continued trust customers place in our cars and services. September will be an important phase for the industry overall, and we will closely observe market trends as they unfold. At Toyota, our focus remains on innovating and introducing value-added services through the festive season, with the hope of uplifting customer sentiment and making purchase decisions easier and more joyful."
The data also reports that Toyota sold a total of 2,41,696 units between January 2025 to August 2025. Meanwhile, it sold 2,12,785 units from January 2024 to August 2024. This has contributed to Toyota Kirloskar Motor a growth of 14 per cent in the first eight months of CY 2025.

Talking about Toyota's key milestone in August, in a thrust to its Make-In-India commitment and boost exports, TKM renewed its Wharfage Rate Agreement with Kamarajar Port Limited (KPL). The brand also introduced a new Bluish Black exterior colour and standardised six airbags across all variants of the Toyota Urban Cruiser. It also launched the Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle - Sprint Edition, a sportier and more dynamic expression of its iconic luxury hybrid electric sedan.
