A Tesla Model Y in Israel withstood a direct strike from heavy rocket shrapnel during an attack. The electric vehicle from the American manufacturer survived the attack, leaving the owner grateful to the brand and Elon Musk. The incident occurred in Netanya when the parked 2024 iteration of the vehicle was impacted on its glass roof. However, it could not be determined if the owner was in the car at the time of the hit.

The owner shared the account on social media, noting a rocket attack prompted the shrapnel to fall straight onto the car. Remarkably, the glass roof held firm against the heavy piece, preventing cabin penetration. The event highlights Tesla's structural resilience amid regional conflicts.

In a post amplified by @TheCaptainEli, the owner credited Tesla's engineering, specifically thanking Elon Musk. It features a 78.1 kWh battery pack, and both versions claim a maximum speed of 201 kmph.
