The site of an accident is often a scary visual, leaving witnesses with mental scars. Other times, there are ruins and stories left that are just hard to believe. One such incident occurred in Georgia, where a Porsche was split in two halves, separating the driver's end from the rear seat. The driver in the incident was left shocked, but walked away.

Based on reports and pictures, the car in the accident appears to be a Porsche Cayenne Coupe with Carmine Red paint. This seems to be the S variant of the model, which has been torn in two halves, separating the front and the rear end. The remains of the car have carbon-ceramic brakes and sport exhaust, hinting at a higher variant.

At the side of the accident, the front half of the SUV was several feet away from the rear section. Both ends were connected only with wiring and a few pieces. The pictures show the passenger seat of the car ripped from its mounting points and left on the roadway. The rear section of the vehicle, with its cargo area and back seats, was left behind the driver's compartment.

Carscoops' report quotes the Dunwood Police saying that the driver's seat was the only section of the left side intact despite the impact of the accident. The driver is reported to have suffered minor injuries. The investigators have said that the speed is one of the primary factors for the crash. However, the speed of the SUV at the time of the incident is not known.

The Porsche Cayenne, although completely destroyed, managed to protect the driver. Showing the precision of its engineering, the Cayenne has a five-star safety rating from ENCAP (Euro New Car Assessment Program). The model is also on sale in the Indian market, and in its Coupe variant comes at a starting price of Rs 1.44 crore (ex-showroom).
