Kia has officially unveiled its smallest and most affordable electric vehicle for Europe, the EV2, marking the brand's new entry point into its expanding EV lineup. Positioned below the EV3, the new B-segment SUV will be produced at Kia's Zilina plant in Slovakia. It will be available in standard-range and long-range versions, along with a more premium GT-Line variant.

Kia EV2: Dimensions

The smallest model in Kia's EV lineup, the EV2, carries the brand's design philosophy and seems to have styling cues inspired by larger EVs. Measuring 4,060mm long, 1,800mm wide, and 1,575mm tall, with a 2,565mm wheelbase, the SUV features a tiger nose fascia, vertical LED lighting signatures, and an upright stance. Cargo space stands at 362 litres, expandable to 403 litres with adjustable rear seats, plus a 15-litre front trunk.

Kia EV2: Interior

Inside, Kia says the cabin design is inspired by a "picnic box" concept aimed at creating a bright, spacious atmosphere. The dashboard integrates dual 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, along with a 5.3-inch panel dedicated to climate controls. It also uses Kia's new ccNC Lite software platform, which supports over-the-air updates (excluding maps) and downloadable in-car apps.
