New Hyundai Venue Diesel Automatic Variant Launched At Rs 13.70 Lakh

Hyundai has marked a new milestone for its popular - Venue SUV, announcing that bookings have crossed the one-lakh mark in India. To build on this momentum, the company has expanded the model's diesel portfolio with the introduction of a new HX8 Diesel Automatic trim, priced at Rs 13.70 lakh (ex-showroom). This addition sits just below the top-spec HX10 and is designed to appeal to buyers who want the fuel efficiency of a diesel engine paired with the convenience of an automatic gearbox.

The latest Hyundai Venue HX10 diesel automatic trim packs a strong mix of technology, comfort, and safety features. It integrates Hyundai's BlueLink connected car suite with remote functions and OTA updates, ensuring smart connectivity and seamless software upgrades. The cabin is enhanced with ambient lighting across the crash pad and centre console, while convenience is boosted by ventilated front seats with electric adjustment and dual-tone leatherette upholstery.

On the safety front, it offers rear disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and paddle shifters. Driving dynamics are supported by selectable Eco, Normal, and Sport modes, along with traction control settings tailored for sand, mud, and snow, making the SUV versatile across varied terrains.

Under the hood, the HX8 Diesel AT is powered by Hyundai's 1.5-litre CRDi engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Known for its strong torque delivery and refinement, this setup is well-suited for both city traffic and long highway runs.
