Mini India has officially expanded its local portfolio with the launch of the new Cooper S Convertible JCW (John Cooper Works) Pack. Positioned as a specialized, limited-run offering for the Indian market, this open-top variant arrives as a completely built unit (CBU) with an ex-showroom price of Rs 61.50 lakh. This new iteration commands a premium of Rs 2.50 lakh over the standard Cooper S Convertible, catering to enthusiasts seeking a more distinct, sporty aesthetic.
The JCW Pack focuses primarily on elevating the vehicle's visual and cabin appeal rather than mechanical performance. On the exterior, it retains the brand's iconic design language and signature soft-top roof, which offers versatile operation, the top can be electrically opened in 18 seconds at speeds up to 30 kmph, or partially opened to function as a sunroof.
It features several unique styling enhancements specific to the JCW, both inside and outside. This gets two exclusive colors: Midnight Black and Legend Grey, with the latter receiving added bonnet stripes. As is typical with JCW Packs, there's a gloss-black appearance for the front grille, outer rearview mirrors (ORVM), door handles, wheel arches, side skirts, and bumpers. It also comes equipped with new 17-inch JCW wheels in black, JCW-branded Sport brakes, and a jet black fabric roof.

Inside, the cabin adopts a refined, sport-oriented theme. The interior features JCW-specific sport seats finished in a combination of Vescin and Cord upholstery, complemented by a dedicated JCW steering wheel equipped with integrated paddle shifters. The dashboard uses a minimalist layout, anchored by the brand's hallmark 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen. This central interface powers the Mini Operating System 9, integrating infotainment, instrumentation, and the Mini connected-car suite.

Mechanically, the Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack remains consistent with the standard model. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque. This setup maintains the agile, go-kart-like driving dynamics synonymous with the Mini brand.
