
Jeep India recently teased the Compass Track Edition for the Indian market. This is a limited edition version of the SUV and comes with aesthetic upgrades over the standard version of the vehicle. Based on the Compass Model S, the model comes at a starting price of Rs 26.78 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 30.58 lakh (ex-showroom) for the most expensive 4x4 variant. Sandwiched between the two in terms of pricing is the automatic at Rs 28.64 lakh (ex-showroom).
In terms of appearance, the Track edition gets elements like a signature hood decal and Piano Black detailing across the grille and badges. To signify its unique nature, the SUV gets a Track Edition badge. To go with these upgrades, the brand has used 18-inch diamond-cut Tech Grey alloy wheels on the SUV.

Matching the exterior, the interior of the Jeep Compass Track Edition brings multiple changes. The cabin is now upholstered in Tupelo Leatherette seats, along with Smoke Chrome finishes, Spruce Beige contrast stitching, and embossed Jeep branding. The brand also offers a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Piano Black inserts, and Track Edition floor mats.

The features remain consistent; it comes with a 10.1-inch Uconnect infotainment display with wireless compatibility for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, and an Alpine sound system. For comfort, it offers 8-way electronically adjustable ventilated leather seats with memory functionality, along with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ideal for enjoyable long drives. The list of safety features includes ESC, ABS with EBD, Advanced Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist, and Rain Brake Assist. It combines security with style effectively.
Under the hood, there's a 2.0-litre MultiJet II turbo-diesel engine that generates 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. It comes with transmission choices, including a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic, available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations.
