In a SEBI disclosure, Hero MotoCorp revealed that it will extend its partnership with Harley-Davidson to develop a brand-new motorcycle and also expand the current X440 range. The Harley-Davidson X440 has been largely successful for Hero MotoCorp and we expect the two brands to launch new motorcycles on the same platform as the X440, which could include a scrambler apart from other derivatives. Presently the X440 is manufactured at Hero MotoCorp's factory in Neemrana, Rajasthan and retails for Rs. 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
