Marc Marquez has secured his seventh World Champion title in the 2025 Japanese MotoGP, finishing second on the track. The Spanish racer secured the title after 6 years, since his last in 2019. The number 93 achieved his seventh premier class title with Ducati, just behind his teammate, Francesco Bagnaia.
The 32-year-old Ducati racer finished ahead of Joan Mir from Honda Racing. Marc's previous association with Honda has been well known, and finishing just ahead of his ex-associate might have been seen as a tough rivalry. Securing the 2025 MotoGP World Championship Title is also a big achievement for the Spanish racer, considering the number 93 had to go through four major operations between 2020 and 2022 due to his elbow injury.
Coming back to the track with Ducati's satellite team-Gresini, Marc showed impressive track results in 2024. This motivated Ducati to sign him up for the 2025 season. Now that the legend has secured his seventh World Champion Title with the team, the decision seems to pay off.

Talking about the race results, Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia secured the pole position at the 2025 Japanese GP, followed by Marc Marquez at just 4.196s behind. Marc just had to finish ahead of his brother, Alex Marquez of Gresini Racing, by 3 points, which he did by running as the second podium finisher. With this, Alex's 'big brother' secured the World Champion Title, and Alex finished 6th.
As Marc secured his seventh World Champion title, he has equalled his stats with Valentino Rossi. With this, he also gets the opportunity to outshine Rossi's record if he wins the title again in his future races.
