Aprilia India has launched the 2025 SR 125 in the Indian market. This comes after the launch of the SR 175, which is placed higher in the brand's lineup. Just like the aforementioned model, the SR 125 comes with an updated 125 cc engine and slight changes in its aesthetics to improve its appeal for consumers. With these changes in place, it will be sold at a starting price of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2025 Aprilia SR 125 is based on the high-performance platform of the brand. This is a 124.45 cc single-cylinder air-cooled three-valve engine. This unit is tuned to produce 10 hp of power at 7,400 rpm and 10 Nm of peak torque while revving at 6,200 rpm. It is paired with a dry centrifugal clutch with a continuously variable transmission. These mechanics are used to take the scooter to a top speed of 90 kmph.

The 2025 Aprilia SR 125 comes with more or less the same design as the outgoing model. It gets a bit of carbon-finished detailing. Along with this, the scooter comes with new paint scheme options with matte and glossy finishes. The list includes Glossy Red with Matte Black, Prismatic Dark, and Tech White. All of this is complemented by 14-inch alloy wheels.
The scooter now features a 5.5-inch TFT display for its instrument panel and full LED lighting for both the headlight and turn signals. Its braking system consists of a 220mm front disc with a twin-piston floating caliper and a rear drum, managed by a hydraulic CBS mechanism. Suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic front suspension and a standard rear shock, unlike the preload-adjustable option available on the SR 175 variant.
