The incident came to light after the passenger shared how a casual wish to visit the aircraft cockpit was fulfilled by an Etihad flight attendant once the plane had safely landed.

A Simple Request During The Flight
According to the video shared on Instagram, the passenger had mentioned to a flight attendant that he had always wanted to see the cockpit. He did not expect the request to be taken seriously, especially given the strict protocols around cockpit access during flights. The passenger said the flight attendant listened politely and acknowledged the wish but made no promises. For him, it was simply a passing comment - something he had always wanted to do but never thought would happen.
The real surprise came after the aircraft landed. Instead of the request being forgotten, the crew remembered it. Once the plane was parked and all safety procedures were completed, the passenger was invited to step into the cockpit. The moment, as described by the passenger, was emotional. He said being able to see the cockpit up close, interact briefly with the pilots and understand the controls felt special, especially because it came without any expectation.
