Diwali becomes even more special when families come together, but for entrepreneur Vatsal Pandya, this year's celebrations began with an emotional surprise for his parents. After spending four years away from home, Pandya returned to Mumbai without informing his parents, leaving them surprised and overjoyed when he suddenly appeared at their doorstep.
Pandya shared the heartwarming moment in a post, explaining how he planned the surprise with the help of his brother and cousin sister. His brother picked him up from the airport while keeping the plan a secret from their parents.
He wrote, "My brother and my cousin sister planned it with me. He picked me up at the airport and told my parents he was out at a friend's birthday party. He walked in first and started chatting with them like it was a normal night."

I just got home to Mumbai after four years. My parents had no idea. My brother and my cousin sister planned it with me. He picked me up at the airport and told my parents he was out at a friend's birthday party. He walked in first and started chatting with them like it was a normal night. Then I walked in. My mom saw me first. She ran straight to my dad shouting "Look, Vatsal is here! Look!" Four years of building in the US, and nothing comes close to that moment. Home for Diwali.

However, the situation changed when Pandya walked in. His mother spotted him first and immediately ran towards his father, excitedly shouting that Vatsal had arrived.
Reflecting on the emotional reunion, Pandya said that nothing could compare to that moment, even after spending four years building his life in the United States.
