After writing an open letter to his granddaughters Navya Naveli and Aaradhya that went viral, actor Amitabh Bachchan has featured in a new video that tackles gender discrimination and stereotyping in our society. The letter urged Navya and Aaradhya to make their own choices in life - the video has much the same message.

The video, made by Culture Machine's digital channel Blush, reiterates some of what women have to hear or are made to feel on a daily basis - being shamed about their clothes, work, payscale or even behaving a certain way. The video comes days before the release of Amitabh Bachchan's new film Pink, which attempts to tackle similar issues.
