It happens to most of us. You buy a bra and it feels great when you're trying it on. A few washes later, the story is quite different though. And there's really nothing wrong you did while buying it - you got sized, you did the trial. Then why is the bra feeling too tight after just a week or two? You might have gotten measured by a professional or, for that matter, may have taken the measurements yourselves at home... Step by step. Some of us even take a lot of quizzes online to find out why we're never happy with our bra fit. Well, we have an answer to this bra woe.
There is one simple trick for finding the right size when you're out shopping for bras and this advice might (or might not, everyone is different after all) turn out to be a game changer for you.
We know for certain that it helped us so we're hoping for you see the same result.
So girls, this may sound completely weird and absolutely opposite of what you've been hearing for the longest time. When you're trying on a bra, make sure you wear it on the loosest hook. It should be the most comfortable in this position. See, there's a logic behind it. As we wear bras and wash them, they eventually lose their elasticity and stretch out slightly. As they stretch, we can tighten the band by adjusting the hooks.
We have been made to believe that we should be hooking our band to the tightest to make sure the bra fits us properly. You might have been too. But no, if we do that, we leave no room for adjustments once the bra loses it's elasticity and that's why you become uncomfortable in your once-perfect bras too soon.
Share this around ladies, you can thank us later!
