Variety is the spice of life, and Sara Ali Khan knows it all too well. Sometimes she impresses fashion critics with her Western fits, while at other times the actress spells elegance in ethnic numbers. For the promotions of her upcoming film Ae Watan Mere Watan, Sara made us fall in love with her all over again in a colourful, abstract-printed saree. On a black base, the six-yard drape featured multi-hued digital prints and pretty floral elements in shades of yellow, purple, navy blue, pink, and green that blended into a fantastic fusion of chic and grace. The black sequinned accents in spaced-out regions offered an edgy twist to the crisply-pleated ensemble. Sara paired the outfit with a strappy black blouse that came with a plunging circular neckline. The diva did not go OTT with her accessories, only resorting to embellished crystal jhumkas and statement rings. Minimal-glam makeup and open hair sealed her OOTD.

Earlier, Sara Ali Khan turned up as the spitting image of her badi amma, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore in a printed pink georgette saree. Doused with yellow, orange, and purple-shaded polka dots, the six-yard wonder struck the perfect balance between a feisty splendour and retro-themed allure. Coupled with mellow orange borders, Sara teamed up the ethnic ensemble with a pink and polka-dotted strappy plunging neckline blouse. Her rosy-glam beauty strokes and iconic 60-inspired hairstyle, involving puffy and voluminous open tresses transported us to the bygone era. A pair of shiny pearl-encrusted studs rounded off her vintage avatar.

Earlier, Sara Ali Khan paid homage to her cultural roots in a vibrant yellow handwoven saree. Picked out from the shelves of fashion label Pero, the chanderi outfit featured signature geometrical prints in shades of white and blue at the petticoat. Floral handcrafted Mashru textile embroidery along the borders and similar small embellishments on the drape elevated her ethnic game. Sara styled her ensemble with a yellow short-sleeved blouse. White floral earrings, dewy-glam makeup, and tresses secured neatly into a messy-wavy updo completed her look.
