
With the first week of September being marked as National Nutrition Week, a lot of awareness is being created on the importance of proper nutrition for a healthy living. Joining in this essential conversation was Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, who took this as an opportunity to share her personal journey with nutrition to her millions of fans and how it has changed her life. In her recent Instagram post, Manushi Chhillar emphasised on the importance of incorporating good nutritional practises in one's daily lifestyle and talked about her personal experience during her college years.

In her video post, Manushi Chhillar said, "I come from a health conscious family and my parents have always stressed on the importance of good nutrition. My personal journey started when I went to college and had to eat the food that was being made in the hostel mess. I realised that I needed to put in a lot of effort because I was gaining a lot of unhealthy weight and at the same time losing it fast. I started to cook for myself. I started to follow these recipes where I could incorporate what was being cooked in the mess, as well as add my own ingredients so that I was getting all the energy and nutrients needed to function in the best possible manner because I was preparing for Miss India and at the same time had to attend my classes and study."

Besides maintaining a healthy diet, Manushi Chhillar also ensures to stay fit and active by working out. Fitness is definitely something she considers important. In one of her posts she wrote, "Fast means something different for everyone. But you'll never be fast - by your definition or anybody else's - if you never get out there and run. I want to encourage people to experience their own personal feeling of Fast."
