It is only April but it looks like actress Malavika Mohanan is having a wonderful year so far. Her much-awaited new film Beyond The Clouds, by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi, is on the cusp of releasing and she's steadily making a successful climb up the fashion charts. Like anything actor or actress worth their salt, Malavika is making immaculately styled outings for promotional events and her latest one was no different. While the sun shone brightly down on us all, Malavika decided to dress up in stark contrast for the Indian premiere of Beyond The Clouds. For the event, she wore a check printed grey Padmaja saree with a matching slate-toned high-neck blouse and short sleeves.
Keeping in tune with the muted monochrome look was silver jewellery which was completely in sync with the outfit. Malavika wore chunky bangles and earrings from Silver Streak and topped it with a massive silver Curio Cottage cocktail ring.
The only touch of colour that accompanied Malavika Mohanan's look wasn't on a handbag or footwear - it was all on her eyes. Her makeup look consisted of burgundy toned eye makeup with dewy skin and mauve lips. Adding to look is her hair left wavy and loose. If you ever thought an all-grey outfit would look dreary and gloomy, Malavika's appearance is bound to prove you wrong.
We've already fawned over how understated and chic Malavika Mohanan is, a style star on the rise. Whether she's donning a pantsuit for a magazine or playing showstopper for a fashion show, she's been turning out looking incredible. With her demure smile, bright eyes and loads of natural beauty, we're pretty sure Malavika is only going to keep raising the style quotient in film circles.
