It was because of these efforts to help save the environment that she was recognised at the Elle Sustainability Awards 2023. She arrived in style but true to her name, went the sustainable route with her fashionable choice of the night at its core. Bhumi Pednekar was seen in a custom-made silver mesh saree designed by Bloni Atelier made using recycled metal. The best part about this saree is that it can be melted to regenerate it further into anything you like. How cool is that? The loosely draped saree is paired with a mesh cutout bodysuit layered over a silver bralette with florescent borders. Minimal jewellery but heavily lined reverse-winged eyeliner balanced the outfit. Bhumi Pednekar has been keeping herself rather busy this past week. The Elle Sustainability Award was just one of the many awards given to her in the grand scheme of things. She was awarded the Best Actress Award (Critics' Choice) for Badhaai Do, which was well-received and certainly very well-deserved and to receive that award, Bhumi Pednekar brought equal doses of glitter and textured glam with her Rami Kadi gown. The silver sequinned bodice fused with a pleated wrap-around skirt with a long trail makes any red carpet entry a memorable one.
