Everyone longs to have smooth, silky locks when they step out of the house. Most hair styling tools often need a manual of their own. Flat irons and straighteners can take far too much time to heat up and style the tresses in entirety. Which is why we decided to try the Ikonic Luxure Hot Brush. A hybrid of sort between a hair brush and straightener, take a look as we test and demonstrate this heated hairstyling tool from Ikonic.
About The Ikonic Luxure Hot Brush
The Ikonic Luxure Hot Brush has a rubberised body for control and grip when styling. It has static-free bristles to prevent frizz and lend bounce to the hair. It is designed to prevent the scalp from burns of any kind. It also claims to heat up in 50 seconds and that it is safe for daily use. It is priced at Rs 6,500.
What Swirlster Says
On the reverse of the rubberised handle of the brush is a power button with a lit up indicator that displays when it is on. It also includes buttons to adjust the temperature settings if you want to increase or decrease its heat. It is sturdy and slightly heavy so you need a firm grip when operating this hair brush.
Its claims of heating up quickly are quite accurate. In around a minute from turning it on I could begin styling my hair. It is possible to simply brush the bristles through the hair as you would with a regular hair brush but I've found using that technique doesn't give a sleek finished hairstyle. I recommend sectioning the hair and brushing through each with the bristles upwards. Do remember that it is very hot once turned on so keep it away from any skin contact like your fingers or ears.
