With a variety of marches, parades and performances through the weeks, it's a time when supporters and members of the LGBTQA community can take to the streets to celebrate their orientation and identity. Pride month has been celebrated for a few years now and what is making it even more special this time is the show of support from celebrities. Lady Gaga posed with her mother and tweeted pride wishes from the two of them as well as from the BTW Foundation, her Born This Way Foundation that's a year-round supporter of the cause.

19-year-old actress Amandla Stenberg, who is known as Rue from The Hunger Games franchise, chose the month to come out of the closet with an Instagram post and magazine interview. Now that's the way to celebrate.
Mariah Carey took us back in time with her album cover but in tribute to pride month, gave it a colourful twist.
