On the occasion of World Environment Day 2020, we're taking lifestyle tips from these Bollywood actresses to go the cleaner and greener route.

4. Make Your Periods Smarter Like Kalki Koechlin
Biodegradable pads are the way forward
During your period, make an eco-friendly choice by cutting down on sanitary pad usage which contributes significantly to plastic waste. Like Kalki, switch to biodegradable pads or cloth pads which can be washed or menstrual cups which can be used for years.
5. Give Clothing New Life Like Evelyn Sharma

Through her organisation Seams For Dreams, Evelyn has promoted recycling clothing once you grow weary of it. Post collection, clothing is either donated for wearing, turned into scraps or auctioned at a fundraiser. All of these prevent it from being turned into waste in a landfill.
