Aaliyah Kashyap And Shane Gregoire Twin In Ivory Floral Anita Dongre Ethnic Ensembles

Anurag Kashyap's daughter Aaliyah Kashyap and her fiance Shane Gregoire hosted their engagement party in Mumbai last night. For her big day, the bride-to-be looked ethereal in an ivory lehenga by Anita Dongre. The lehenga was adorned with floral motifs that were brought to life through aari embroidery by master artisans. The multi-colour embroidery on the lehenga flew down to a broad geometric border and scallop hemline. The work on the outfit was inspired by the timeless beauty of Sindh architecture. Aaliyah paired her lehenga with a choli-style blouse with short sleeves and a scoop neckline. She styled it with a see-through tulle dupatta with a lace border and matching scallop ends. Traditional choker-style jewellery with maang tika pulled off her ethnic look gracefully. She left her middle parted hair open and styled them with curled ends. Rosy pink lips blushed cheeks and pink eyeshadow were paired with winged eyeliner and add-on lashes. The YouTuber got engaged to her long-time boyfriend in May, this year. The engagement party was a starry affair, as many industry friends of Anurag Kashyap and Aaliyah graced the event.

Shane Gregoire complemented his fiancee with an equally stylish ethnic number. He wore a sage green dhruvam Nehru jacket from the shelves of Anita Dongre. It made a stunning case of a pastel colour palette. Its regal silhouette exaggerated delicate-looking floral print. Twinning with Aaliyah Kashyap, he wore a Nehru jacket atop an ivory embroidered kurta set.

Bride's father Anurag Kashyap was seen in an all-black look. He wore a formal bandhgala safari suit with a mandarin collar. The filmmaker was seen complementing his look with broad black glasses. Kashyap gave his look a final touch with pointed formal shoes.

Aaliyah Kashyap's close friend and Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's daughter Suhana Khan ended up being the talk of the event as she walked in a full desi avatar. Suhana draped herself in an electric blue saree with a heavily embellished sleeveless blouse. The saree featured subtle embellishment on its border, which was further adorned with tassels. She pulled off her desi look by styling it with a matching bindi and an equally bright blue clutch.

Anurag Kashyap's ex-wife Kalki Koechlin arrived at the venue with her boyfriend, Guy Hershberg, and their daughter Sappho. The actress looked gorgeous in a sage green saree with a floral print and lace border. Kalki's halter neck blouse with cut-out detail added the oomph element. Matching mule with block heels and a side-parted sleek bun complemented her well.

Aaliyah Kashyap's friend and Janhvi Kapoor's sister Khushi Kapoor looked beautiful in a blush-pink embellished saree. The six yards were further adorned with mirror work on its borders. Khushi paired her drap with an equally heavy-duty sleeveless blouse.

Palak Tiwari wore an embellished saree atop a halter-neck sequin blouse. She left her side-parted hair open and styled them in curled ends.
