Indian celebrities have been making swoon-worthy red-carpet choices as they have attended the Cannes Film Festival 2023. They have been top-notch with their style and makeup while representing their country for decades. There have been many occasions when Bollywood actresses and Indian celebrities have opted for desi looks at Cannes. And this year was no different. From Sara Ali Khan making her debut this year in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga, to Dolly Singh in a desi co-ord, Indian celebrities sported traditional ethnic looks and took all their fans by surprise. Let us have a look at a few of our favourite looks.

Sara Ali Khan's debut definitely grabbed all attention as she walked in an embroidered gold lehenga from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. She teamed a heavy-work lehenga bottom with a short-sleeved blouse and wore her dupatta as a veil. She looked like an ethnic princess indeed.

For her second outing, Sara picked yet another Indian outfit. Sara's white and black pre-draped saree from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla was yet another exquisite piece that she wore with a black and white halter blouse and let her pallu draped from the back.

Mrunal Thakur too made her debut at Cannes this year. She chose a shimmery Falguni Shane Peacock pre-draped saree with a strappy sequined blouse. The neatly-pleated drape had a sheer pallu to follow.

Dolly Singh opted for a fusion-wear ensemble from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla consisting of an embellished bralette and a dhoti-style bottom with an elaborate ruffled cape. 

Masoom Minawala's embellished lehenga with mirrorwork and breathtaking work from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla was extraordinary in every way and a great way to add the Indian traditional style to the red carpet.
