1. Soothing face mask - amla and papaya
Both, amla and papaya, work together to cleanse the skin and reduce pigmentation. Take two tablespoons amla juice and two tablespoons mashed papaya, and mix it. Using a cotton dab, apply it on your face and let it stay for 15 minutes. Wash with cool water and repeat every alternate day for two weeks to see visible results.

2. Face pack to reduce skin tan - amla, yoghurt and honey
In many ancient skin remedies, amla has been commonly used to reduce sun tan or improve skin tone. Take two tablespoons amla powder or blended fresh amla, one tablespoon yoghurt and one teaspoon honey, and mix it well. Apply it evenly on your face and neck and let it dry for 20 minutes. Wash with cool water and pat dry.
3. Exfoliate the skin - amla, sugar scrub and rose water
To keep pimples and acne at bay, exfoliate your skin with amla. Make a scrub with half a cup blended fresh amla or amla powder, half a cup granulated sugar and one tablespoon rose water. Use it gently to scrub the skin. Wash with cool water.
