Celebrity selfies, the craze of the Internet. We love a self-taken peek of Bella Hadid getting glammed up at fashion week or Kareena Kapoor showing us her spectacular makeup-free self. Now, along with glam selfies, off-duty pictures and sunshine-laden holiday snaps, we've got a new kind of celebrity selfie and for that we have Google's Arts And Culture app to thank.
Over the past week, Hollywood's socially savvy tried out the app's 'search with your selfie' feature. What this does is, once you take a picture of yourself, the app runs it through its database of thousands of artworks and finds a match with your image, varying by a few percentage points of course. As you can expect, the results are sometimes uncanny, strikingly similar and most of the time, hilarious. The app peaked so much in popularity that it was one of the highest downloaded apps in the Android and iOS app stores this week. Going by how much fun these 10 celebrities are having with the selfie match feature, you can see why that's so.
1. Kate Hudson
Thanks to her pixie crop, Kate Hudson got a 50 percent match with 'Portrait of a Boy' artwork. She responded with the laughing-till-you-cry emoji, an apt response for the match.
2. Kumail Nanjiani
The Big Sick star Kumail Nanjiani veered into the striking resemblance category as he matched with 'Portrait' by Mohammed Al Mazrouie. They even got the eyebrows bang on.

3. Amanda Seyfried
Amanda's straight-faced selfie matched with a sleeping 'One summer afternoon' artwork. A 57 percent match seems far too generous and Amanda probably thought so too as she found the similarity only with the season.
4. Josh Groban
Hilariously enough, singer Josh Groban matched with a rosy-cheeked female portrait from the 1800s and what better way to deal with that terrible match than to just laugh it off.
5. Rachel Bilson
Poor Rachel Bilson's match was found in an open-mouthed female with abstract designs. We just can't see the 49 percent likeness so it's a no from us, Google.
6. Ryan Seacrest
A clean-shaven Ryan looked nothing like his 46 percent match, the 'Lorenzo Soranzo' artwork. Jeez Google, it's what they look like now, not after no-shave November.
7. Alyssa Milano
Alyssa's side-faced selfie ended up matching an astounding 49 percent with 'Portrait of a Man', a gent complete with a moustache and she didn't seem too pleased about it.
8. Jim Parsons
Jim looked like he was one of the lucky ones as he matched with a stony faced 'Portrait of Mikhail Ivanovich Terestjenko'. Okay, looks like they weren't all that bad.
9. Kristen Bell
In probably the funniest of the lot, Kristen Bell matched with an aged man with bushy facial hair. That's cold, Google, even from you but thankfully, Kristen's got a sarcastic sense of humour.
10. Zach Braff
In yet another unintentional laughter riot from the app, Zach Braff matched with a curly-haired woman in the artwork 'Rosina'. Oh Google, looks like you're at it again.
While there are plenty more informative features in the Google Arts And Culture app, the selfie search has brought us a lot of laughs at the expense of some seriously sporting celebrities.
