Kanpur:
A Dalit woman was allegedly gangraped by five men following which a case has been registered in this regard, said the police.
The victim, resident of Baraijhal village, went missing on January 15. She was found in an unconscious state near Bhauti area on Thursday night by her family members, who then bought her to the police station.
The victim has alleged in her FIR that Lalla Agnihotri, resident of the same village, and four unidentified men gangraped her, said the police.
A case has been registered against five persons for allegedly assaulting the Dalit woman, said the police.
Investigations are under way and efforts are being made to nab the accused, the police added.
