Plane lands on closed runway in Lucknow, passengers safe

Lucknow: A Kingfisher flight from Mumbai to Lucknow landed at the wrong runway at the Lucknow airport - the pilot ended up on a taxiway that was closed for repairs.

All passengers are safe.

The pilot followed the instructions of the Air Traffic Control which guided him to Taxiway Delta. The pilot discovered a pothole and found that the runway had been closed.

Passengers were made to get off the plane on the runway.

The plane was then towed away.
