New Delhi:
A kohl-eyed Shraddha Kapoor has a menacing stare in the new poster of her upcoming film Haseena: The Queen Of Mumbai. She wears a burqa and looks fierce in the character of Haseena Parkar, sister of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. She is surrounded by a group of women. The tagline of the poster, which reads, "88 cases have been registered yet she appeared in the court only once," reveals the strong personality of Haseena. Haseena: The Queen Of Mumbai tracks the life of Haseena from her youth till she is 40. Shraddha's brother Siddhanth Kapoor, plays Dawood Ibrahim in the film.
With the new poster, the makers of the film also announced the new release date. Haseena: The Queen Of Mumbai, which was earlier scheduled to release on July 14, will now hit the screens on August 18.
Shraddha recently wrapped shooting for the film in Pune. This is the first time that she will work with her brother in a film. On co-starring with Siddhanth, she earlier told news agency PTI, "I am very excited and nervous because I've been thinking if I have to do a scene with him, I've to forget that he is my bhaiya. I hope that bond translates on screen."
Of Shraddha's role, director Apoorva Lakhia told PTI, "Shraddha fits into the character perfectly and she was keen to do something different and the opportunity for both (brother and sister) to work together does not come as often."
