Delhi Police on constable's death in rape protests: Highlights
New Delhi: Delhi Police constable Subhash Tomar, who had suffered serious injuries when a protest against the gang-rape of a young medical student turned violent at India Gate on Sunday, died at a hospital in the capital today.

Here are the highlights of Delhi Police's press conference on Mr Tomar:

  • Will appoint one member of the constable's family in police force.
  • Ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh and Delhi Police Welfare Fund of Rs 3 lakh to be given.
