Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde today addressed the media on the National Counter Terrorism Centre.
Here are the highlights:
On NCTC: - NCTC-proposed draft has been given to the Chief Minister's to take their views on the draft
- We thought we will take their opinion first and then take it to Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS)
- When the complete examination is done then we will decide on putting the draft forward in CCS
- Centre and States will have work through a consensus
- No white paper on what we done to improve the internal security as demanded by Mr Modi.
- Modi has been attending these internal security meetings for the last 9 years he should know what all has been done
On Maoist attack:- Take strict action that is the direction that has been given
On Jindal:- CBI will do their work I can't comment on that
- If he is involved, according to law, whatever needs to be done will be done
On Andhra Pradesh ministers resigning:- Just 2-3 ministers have resigned, don't have the complete report
On paramilitary forces to West Bengal:
- Yes it will be given to West Bengal government
- The Chief Minister spoke to me yesterday
On Advani's resignation letter saying-BJP leaders are playing self-centric politics:
