BJP Nominates Second Candidate For Rajya Sabha Elections From Jharkhand

Ranchi: The BJP today nominated its second candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections for two posts from Jharkhand.

Party's state unit treasurer Mahesh Poddar filed his papers with Independent legislators Bhanu Pratap Sahi and Gita Koda being among the signatories.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das and several other leaders were present at the state Assembly secretariat.

The biennial election slated for June 11 is being held to fill two vacancies from Jharkhand.

Today was the last date for the filing of nomination papers.
