Why is my wife having pain in various parts of her body?
Question
My 28 years old wife has been suffering from severe pain in various joints and teeth throughout the day for the past month. She delivered a child four months back through C-section. How can postnatal pain in various parts of body be treated? We consulted a doctor who advised not to take medicine. But two days back, she was asked to take Nimumac by another doctor, which gave relief. Is Nimumac advisable while breast-feeding?

Post-natal pains usually present as abdominal cramps and muscle fatigue for about 48 hours after a normal delivery. Pains involving joints and the rest of the body are not post-natal. You should see a physician / orthopaedic specialist to sort out the joint and generalized body pains. Nimumac, I suppose, is nimesulide and should not be taken during breast-feeding.
