Ghaziabad:
A local court yesterday sentenced a man to five years in jail for trying to rape a minor girl in 2012.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Kuldeep Kumar found Ravi alias Vinay guilty of attempting to rape his tenant's 11-year-old daughter and sentenced him to five years imprisonment.
The Court also imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 on him.
According to prosecution, Ravi tried to rape the girl on March 7, 2012 when she and her sister were in the house.
However, Ravi, was nabbed when the girl raised alarm.
