Shilpa Shetty celebrated Dussehra by burning Ravan's effigy at her home in Mumbai. On Wednesday, the actor shared a video on her Instagram handle, in which, she can be seen lighting Ravan's effigy with her son Viaan Raj. The mother-son duo can be seen wearing ethnic outfits. Shilpa can be seen wearing a white kurta set. Her video also features her daughter Samisha Shetty Kundra. She captioned her post, "Aaj Raavan-dahan ke saath apni saari chintaaon ko jalaa kar, utsah se ek nayi shuruvat karne ki koshish karte hain. Dussehra ki dheron shubhkaamnayein aap sabhi ko (Today, along with burning an effigy of Ravan, let's burn all our worries and start a new beginning with excitement. Happy Dussehra to you all) Jai Shree Ram." Her caption was accompanied by the hashtags Dussehra, Jai Mata Di, Jai Shri Ram, Traditions, Blessed, Gratitude, Festivals of India, Family Time and Ravan Dahan.
Shilpa's post caught the attention of her sister Shamita Shetty, who dropped hearts in the comments sections.
Many of Shilpa's fans too commented on her post. One of them wrote, "Happy Dussehra dear Shilpa," while the other one wrote, "Stunning." Many others dropped heart, star-eyed and fire emojis in the comments section.

On Tuesday, Shilpa shared another video. In the video, Shilpa's husband, Raj Kundra can be seen performing the Kanchika Puja (Ritual of offering prayers to little girls) with their daughter Samisha Shetty. Her caption read, "Kanchika Puja with my in-house Mahagauri (don't miss the sunglasses) Here's wishing all of you - my Insta Fam, and all the little Lakshmis a very Happy Ashtami."
